i find end-of-year posts to be difficult but necessary. i feel a little vulnerable revealing the images that i'm most proud of over the last twelve months. it's hard to choose. i had a giant file of favorites that i managed to narrow down to this after a couple of weeks of thinking about it. going through the archives is emotional. i am attached to every family i've photographed, and sometimes a family has broken apart or, even, lost a beloved father and old favorites break my heart.
but mostly, i am just grateful for the ability to do what i love to do, grateful for my many many lovely clients that entrust me with capturing their family photos. and proud of the busy year i've had.
for those of you featured here, a big thank you. i enjoyed every minute of working with you. and these are the ones i would have blown up big on your walls! and for those of you that read this blog and haven't contacted me yet for your own photos, this is what i want to do for you in 2012! xoxo
