blossoms

it snowed this morning. march 13th. i know. yuck.  isn't it spring yet?  and it stormed yesterday. my parents on the coast got eight inches of snow overnight. it didn't stick at our house, much to my kids' dismay. but i started to panic that the plum blossoms that just opened up the other day would get all blown off the trees before i even got a chance to see them. so muller and i snuck around our neighborhood in the rain and clipped some small branches to put in water on the mantle. that doesn't sound very nice of me, does it?  shhh, don't tell.

i feel like the trees are blooming weeks earlier than they did last year.  is it true?  those of you who have a session scheduled with me in the next few weeks, lucky you!  let's plan on getting some photos with the blossoms.  and if you aren't scheduled but you have some gorgeous trees in your yard getting ready to bloom, email me!  let's take advantage of it!
